Ed’s Rec Room

Ice Palace
There is always something happening under the glittering glass dome of the sensational Ice Palace. Sea Lion Encounters
You’ve seen them swimming, jumping and dancing in West Edmonton Mall’s Marine Life pool, and now you can get up close and personal with Pablo, Clara, Kelpie and Quinty. Swim with them, touch them, train them, and learn more about these fascinating California sea lions. As the only program of its kind in Canada, Sea Lion Encounters gives you the opportunity to learn from one of our Marine Life trainers and then apply that knowledge working – and even playing – with the sea lions. Equipment is provided and participants must be at least 14 years of age.
